AI pricing & offer engine for wholesale liquidation

The problem

A US liquidation company buys truckloads of returned and surplus goods. Every deal starts with a supplier manifest — a huge, messy Excel file where every supplier uses different columns, naming and formats. Before an offer could go out, someone had to manually clean the list, look up market prices item by item, and calculate what the truckload was worth. Hours of skilled work per deal, and slow offers lose deals.

What we built

An AI engine that does the whole analysis pass automatically:

• Parses any manifest. AI reads each supplier’s spreadsheet — regardless of structure — and normalizes every line item into one clean format.
• Finds market prices for the products in the load.
• Calculates the offer price using the company’s own margin logic, with manual overrides where the team wants control.
• Generates listing content — AI-written pallet descriptions and image collages of the highest-value items, ready for resale channels.
• Exports back to Excel — the team keeps working exactly the way they always have, just without the grunt work.
